If a work account, then it's not possible as the Gmail app doesn't support MFA for non-Gmail accounts. Previously you could generate an app specific password to use, but since Basic Auth has been deprecated, this is no longer possible. Not for iPhone. Open settings in Chrome by clicking the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser. Select More tools, then Create shortcut. Make sure that you tick of Open as window.
